WHAT WE ARE DOING

Team Best Fit has partnered with the Average Is Unacceptable Foundation, Inc. in performing various charitable acts in the local community. Team Best Fit clients and athletes do these acts without the expectation of direct financial gain, but they understand the acts are certainly not without there own special rewards. Whether donating money or time, giving back is beneficial–and not just for the recipients.

Team Best Fit believes in the old adage, “It’s better to give than to receive.” We look for opportunities to partner with the Average Is Unacceptable Foundation, Inc. to increase social impact in our communities, particularly around the mitigating challenges of both underprivileged youth and adults.

SOME OF OUR WORK

Burbank Elementary Book Drive

AIU Foundation partnered with Burbank Elementary to provide funds to underprivileged children to be able to purchase books during their annual book fair. These kids would not normally have the means to purchase the books, but we made that happen this year. We were able to sponsor 20 kids! Team Best Fit was once again

Hampton Roads Ecumenical Lodgings and Provisions (H.E.L.P.)

H.E.L.P. is a non-profit organization that ministers to the dignity and needs of the people in the Hampton Roads Community. We maintain the H.E.L.P. House Family Center, a shelter for homeless families, as well as Transitional Housing for families who graduate from H.E.L.P. House and “A Night’s Welcome” winter emergency shelters.
