Hampton Roads Ecumenical Lodgings and Provisions (H.E.L.P.)
H.E.L.P. is a non-profit organization that ministers to the dignity and needs of the people in the Hampton Roads Community.
- We maintain the H.E.L.P. House Family Center, a shelter for homeless families, as well as Transitional Housing for families who graduate from H.E.L.P. House and “A Night’s Welcome” winter emergency shelters.
- Our Financial Assistance Program helps families helps families avoid homelessness by assisting with utility bills.
- Our food pantry is located at Hampton Department of Social Services.
- Our medical and dental services are provided to individuals with no medical coverage that fall at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines at the H.E.L.P. Medical Clinic. Volunteer doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, other health care professionals, and non-medical volunteers make up the staff.
